Y-Mobility is changing the way people move within the southern German city of Hof. Our newly onboarded client operates a kick-scooter sharing business in Hof, Bavaria, particularly in the Franconia region. Y-Mobility starts with 170 scooters on the ground and already have plans to scale this since the first weeks of business were very successful and people adopt the new way of transportation. 

For the past two months, one of Wunder Mobility's  Senior Account Managers has  supported  Y-Mobility’s CEO, Ridvan Yücel during the launch phase. Ensuring a successful setup of Ridvan’s sharing business on Wunder Mobilitys  platform and supporting Y-Mobility’s vision to scale.

Y-Mobility’s mission & use-case

Driven by a desire to provide the residents of Hof with better mobility options, Ridvan Yücel, a true entrepreneur at heart, founded Y-Mobility. Most residents  in Hof rely heavily on cars due to limitations in public transportation, which can be static and unreliable. Recognizing the need for a sustainable alternative, Ridvan saw the perfect opportunity to bring his kick-scooter sharing business to live.

This led to the idea of a free-floating kick-scooter service - Y-Mobility - to launch in Hof and scale it further after a successful launch and first season. Y-Mobility needed a partner that could support the ambitious vision of a tailor made solution for all people in this region.
